No, but most people find the personal relationship that develops with a Holistic Nutritionist as well as experiencing markedly improved health to be extremely rewarding.
Holistic Nutrition has become more realized as an effective way to restore health and some extended health care insurance plan will cover your expense with an official RNCP# receipt. Please check with your employor or insurance company for details.

My doctor told me to stay away from that “holistic stuff”, that it’s unsafe and unproven. Why would he/she think that?

What is Holistic Nutrition exactly?

Holistic Nutrition is a philosophy of health care that emphasizes taking personal responsibility for one’s health and building a cooperative relationship between client and practitioner. It emphasizes evaluating the whole individual, including all the factors that influence their state of health (emotional, physical, nutritional, environmental, genetic, and spiritual).

By finding the root cause of imbalance in the body, client and practitioner are able to work together to correct those imbalances to promote health and well-being to its fullest. If we understand what caused it, we can begin to heal it.

I use the two together to form a strong foundation for health. I’m very thorough in my consultations and health programs for clients and I do the very best I can to give my clients what they need.
